A Git workflow for your first team project

Small commits and clear pull requests make it easier for teammates to understand and review your work.

Keep changes focused

Start a branch for one feature or fix. Inspect your diff before committing and describe the behavior that changed. Keep unrelated formatting out of the same commit.

Review together

Open a pull request with the problem, your solution, and how to verify it. Ask another teammate to try the core flow. Resolve feedback before merging.

Handle conflicts carefully

Read both versions, agree on the desired behavior, and test the combined result. A conflict is a disagreement in text; resolving it still requires checking the application.
